Broadway Melody (1929)

Broadway Melody (1929)

Broadway Melody won the 2nd ever Oscar for Best Picture in 1928-29 and unlike its Predecessor “Wings” this one had a sound (fortunate considering its a Musical) and Technocolour version. Sadly the colour version appears to have been lost however the B&W one is available and in quite good quality considering its age.
