Why does Hooker blow all of his money from the first grift on one roll? Who takes their date to a sleazy casino? And why does stripper date ditch Hooker just because he looses his money?

@13haydn14 Actually the Voice Over is referring to the previous movie with Newman and Redford, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid where they didn’t get away with it.

The only film that has you going until the very – VERY! – last second of the movie. Utterly brilliant.

1973 was a lousy year for Oscar except for Jack Lemmon. This overlong, only intermitently interesting film shows the bizarre Redford mugging for the camera that curiously was apparently so appealing to many back then. I for one am mystified by Redford’s ability to fool others into thinking he could act.

This movie is Exhibit Gunk-o-schmell as the most impossible tale ever told. No one could have been bamboozled by this laugh-out-loud, mickey mouze, kindergarden set up. No words can describe how utterly nonsensical it is. It’s supposed to be telling a believable story but it turned out to be a low-grade comedy. It’s a shtoo-pee.
