What an exquisite movie. And the music plucks my heart strings. And Brigitte Fossey plays her role impeccably. It is a movie I have cherished since seeing it for the first time when I was a child. The part towards the end of the movie where the little girl hears someone mention the name Michel jogs her memory of that boy and she cries, “Michel, Michel . . .” never fails to bring tears to my eyes.
