After watching Alita Battle Angel, I felt that it was one of the best movies I have seen in 2019. This was because of the chilling storyline that made me want to keep on watching it to the very end, whenever I felt I knew what was going to happen it added something unexpected that made me very impressed.
Along with the thrilling fight scene within this movie which included several fighting style. In one part I saw Alita do a technique that is used in self-defence or Kempo as I know it, which showed that they thought of using a large range of fighting techniques.
Along with the action scenes and the storyline this movie had a large cast of famous actors such as Rosa Salazar who is known for being part of the Netflix’s original Bird Box and two of the Maze Runner movies, Scorch Trials and Death Cure. Another actor is Christoph Waltz who I know for his roles in the movies Spectre, The Legend of Tarzan and Horrible Bosses 2. Along with Ed Skrein and Mahershala Ali. Skrein is well known for being part of Deadpool 1 and Ali is known for being part of Netflix’s Luke Cage. With a cast like this how can you not tell that this is a great movie.
After looking up on Rotten Tomatoes I could see that the audience gave this movie 93%, however the critics gave Battle Angel 60% saying that it was average movie. Well I say that this movie should have gotten more praise for its work. With it’s amazing action and thrilling line of cast for me this movie gets a 9.4/10.
