Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore (1974, Martin Scorsese) Theatrical Trailer

Pretty humdrum trailer to Martin Scorsese’s otherwise excellent 1974 drama, Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore. Starring Ellen Burstyn, Kris Kristofferson, Alfred Lutter, Diane Ladd, Harvey Keitel and Jodie Foster. Ellen Burstyn won the Oscar for Best Actress. Diane Ladd and screenwriter Robert Getchell were both nominated. It faired better at the BAFTAs, where it won all three aformentioned categories, as well as Best Film.

One great film, except for the unfortunate Christopherson casting.

This film was (and IS) great! The scene where she and the kid ‘throw water’: classic!
Some days ago, I dreamed with Mrs. Burstyn; she was in the city where I lived (Rio de Janeiro – Brazil).
And the film was released (in USA) in the same day I was born!
