Ace Comics Colchester

Founded in 1981 as ‘American Comics Enterprise’ by the owner and managing director Martin ‘Biff’ Averre, ACE Comics is one of the oldest and most reliable suppliers of comic books and cult merchandise in the UK today.

We have stores in Colchester and Southend, both of which have dedicated ACE Gaming Centres, where members can come and play collectable card games such as Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, UFS and Pokemon, or miniatures games like HeroClix or Star Wars: X-Wing in a friendly environment. These gaming centres often hold regional tournaments and are a great place to visit for gaming fans. There is also a large selection of contemporary board games available to play on site.
