Jared Goff has been playing quite well but didn’t do much this week. The Lions were shut out in New England and Goff ended up throwing 35 times for 229 yards. With an interception and a fumble, it was no surprise that he ended up with a QB Rating of 6.5!<\/p>\n
Last Man Standing<\/h3>\n
Philadelphia Maintained their 100% start with a narrow win at Arizona. The Cardinals missed a potential tying field goal with just over a minute left, but overall the Eagles just about deserved it. This sets up a nice NFC East clash with Dallas next week.<\/p>\n
Houston also got their first win of the season to add to their opening tie. They may be 1-3-1 but two of their losses were one-score affairs. They remain one of the favourites for the no.1 overall pick in next year’s draft but there are reasons to be hopeful for their fans.<\/p>\n
Other Talking Points<\/h3>\n
Rookie QB Kenny Pickett’s<\/a> first start for Pittsburgh could have gone better score-wise, however, he played pretty well considering the lack of talent around him. This could be a long hard season for Steelers fans, but at least they look to have their QB of the future. Now they can focus on sorting out their awful secondary.<\/p>\n The Dolphins are not having much luck with their QBs this year and they ended up playing their third-string one on Sunday. Still, at least, it will give rookie Skylar Thompson a chance to shine.<\/p>\n Seattle is not having a great season, however, we are pleased to see Tariq Woolen get another interception. That’s his third consecutive game with one.
