The directory of the US emergency agency says a California town ravaged by wildfire will need a rebuild and will take several years.<\/p>\n
It is said by the Federal Emergency Management Agency said the damage to Paradise is “one of the worst disasters” seen.<\/p>\n
So far 56 people have been found dead in the fire that hit the town but 130 more remain missing. Most of the people still missing are elderly. There are around 9,000 firefighters are currently battling wildfires across the state. At Wednesday\u2019s news briefing officials said progress is being made to contain the blaze.<\/p>\n
Latest news <\/strong><\/p>\n On Wednesday rescuers found eight more victims they were all in and around Paradise. Crews have contained 35% of the camp fire in northern California. They do not expect to contain the blaze until the end of the month. 138,000 acres have already been destroyed and 7,600 residences have been destroyed as well as many commercial properties. It is described as looking like a \u201cwar zone\u201d by Governor Brown who has visited the grounds.<\/p>\n Military troops are currently assisting forensics and cadaver dogs as they continue to search for human remains; about 461 people and 22 cadaver dogs are searching the towns. The majority missing live in the town Paradise.<\/p>\n Today, 15th<\/sup> November, the sheriff\u2019s department will be taking DNA samples from people that are missing a family member.
