This year, High Streets are facing a make-or-break situation as shoppers are turning online for their Christmas and Black Friday shopping. The number of items bought in stores has fallen in the last three months.<\/p>\n

Non-food items (such as clothes and homeware) in store sales have dropped by 2 per cent, on the other hand, non-food items on online sales has increased by 6.7 per cent.<\/p>\n

Christmas sales is a critical period for the High Street and last year\u2019s in sore sale growth was the worst for five years.<\/p>\n

The High street stores are continuing to drop as department stores such as Debenhams are set to reduce their stores due to lack of in store profits.<\/p>\n
