The new banknotes have been released to the public, and the images have been, but the real banknotes will not be fully released to the public until 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The portrait will be the only change to the existing designs of the notes, so the \u00a35, \u00a310, \u00a320, and \u00a350 notes. This will go into full swing in mid-2024.<\/p>\n

New notes will feature the King’s portrait on the front and in the see-through security window.<\/p>\n

Existing notes will still be accepted in shops.<\/p>\n
