In Canada, there is currently a lawsuit happening with the creators of Fortnite due to their children not eating or sleeping.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The plaintiffs say their children would forgo sleeping, eating and even taking a shower due to them constantly on the game known as Fortnite.<\/p>\n

Fortnite is a free to play third person shooter that is designed for kids and adults. Going into the world and surviving against 100 players and winning the game via a battle royal.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit is against the game’s maker, Epic Games, and its Canadian subsidiary.<\/p>\n

“industry-leading parental controls that empower parents to supervise their child’s digital experience”.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

“Parents can receive playtime reports that track the amount of time their child plays each week, and require parental permission before purchases are made,” the company said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“We plan to fight this in court. We believe the evidence will show that this case is meritless,” Said Epic Games in a statement.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As the game gets more advanced, the player base continues to grow. The legal action claims the game was deliberately developed to be highly addictive.<\/p>\n

This popular game will more than likely continue and the parents will keep going until something is done.<\/p>\n
