President Donald Trump told a Florida crowd that he wanted to \u201ckiss them, whilst addressing them recently.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

This was Trumps first rally since he and his wife Melina tested positive 11 days ago. He told the crown how powerful he felt after overcoming the virus, and that he\u2019d give everyone in the crowd a \u201cbig fat kiss\u201d.<\/p>\n

His doctor has been testing him and his wife for a few days now, and the pair have now both tested negative for consecutive days, showing that they are very likely no longer infectious.<\/p>\n

At the rally, whilst throwing masks into the crowds, he said: “If you don’t feel good about going out, stay, relax, stay. You know the risk groups, you know the older people – see, fortunately I’m not an old person. I’m very young and I’m in such perfect shape. I’m in such great shape.<\/p>\n

“One thing with me, the nice part – I went through it now. Now they say I’m immune. I feel so powerful.<\/p>\n

“I will kiss everyone in that audience, I will kiss the guys and the beautiful women, everybody, I’ll just give you a big fat kiss.”<\/p>\n

He also shared details about his recovery on Twitter, writing: “Repeatedly negative antigen tests, taken in context with additional clinical and laboratory data, including viral load, subgenomic RNA, and PCR cycle threshold measurements, as well as ongoing assessment of viral culture date, all indicate a lack of detectable viral replication.”<\/p>\n

He basically said he\u2019s not infectious anymore, for those who don\u2019t fully get what he\u2019s saying. And, obviously, as a politician he used this time in his life as a way to try get some leverage on Joe Biden and his campaign, explaining how Biden will lock Florida down in a \u201cdraconian\u201d style.<\/p>\n

Trump also mentioned how, as the president, it was essential to get out and about quickly after his coronavirus diagnosis, despite it being \u201crisky\u201d.<\/p>\n

He explained: “There is something nice, I don’t have to be locked up in my basement. And I wouldn’t allow that to happen anyway. I wouldn’t allow it to happen.<\/p>\n

“When you’re the president you can’t lock yourself in a basement. You’ve got to get out, and it’s risky. It’s risky but you’ve got to get out.<\/p>\n

“But it does give you a good feeling when you beat something and they say you’re immune, I don’t know for how long, some people say for life, some people say for four months.<\/p>\n

“Every time I hear about it, it gets shorter and shorter and shorter, because they want it to be as bad as possible.”<\/p>\n

Currently, despite Trumps upbeat approach to the public, the USA has the most cases and most deaths from Coronavirus, leading others to wonder whether more could have been and could be done.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
