It now offers only tobacco and menthol options in the US. Juul also noted in its statement that it has also stopped advertising in the United States. The popular Mango flavour was also included in the ban with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 253px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.theelectroniccigarette.co.uk\/media\/catalog\/product\/j\/u\/juul-ecig-kit-colour-swatch_1.jpg\" alt=\"Image result for juul&quot;\" width=\"243\" height=\"243\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Juul was founded in 2015.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Just like ike other e-cig firms, Juul has been facing a lot of backlash after a recent number of deaths have been linked to vaping. In an attempt to curb the problem among young e-cigarette users, the Trump administration said in September that it would ban non-tobacco flavors, forcing Juul, and other companies, to stop selling fruit-flavored variants.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Recent studies raised questions about Juul\u2019s decision to continue selling its mint flavor, which was found to be the most popular flavor for users in grades eight through 12, (the equivalent to years 9 &#8211; 12 in the UK) . Researchers for one of the studies wrote in the Journal of the American Medical Association that the findings raised questions about \u201cwhether regulations or sales suspensions that exempt mint flavors are optimal strategies\u201d for preventing young people from vaping.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Juul have often been seen as a reasonable and ethical company by the public and governing bodies, regularly acknowledging problems with their products, the fact they have so many younger users, and the need to prevent such youths from unnecessarily using their products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese results are unacceptable and that is why we must reset the vapor category in the U.S. and earn the trust of society by working cooperatively with regulators, Attorneys General, public health officials, and other stakeholders to combat underage use,\u201d Juul CEO KC Crosthwaite said in the statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Juul announced that it will stop sales of its mint flavoured pods after recently released studies found the flavor was especially popular among young vape users.
