It\u2019s been reported that Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone has became a dad again, at the age of 89.<\/strong><\/p>\n

44 year old Fabiana <\/span>Flosi, his wife, gave birth to his 4th child a few days ago, in what was said to be a speedy labour, taking around 25 minutes.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The couple confirmed the news, with Bernie saying:\u00a0“We have a son named Ace. I am so proud.”<\/p>\n

His wife Flosi, added: “It was all so easy. The birth was over after 25 minutes. I thank God.”<\/p>\n

Ecclestone turns 90 in October and is already dad to daughter Deborah, 65, Tamara, 36 and Petra, 31.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bernie may also been in for a shock, as wife Flosi isn\u2019t too keen on the idea of their new boy taking an interest in Formula 1. Speaking to a German media outlast last month, Bernie said: “Like all parents we have only one wish: the child must be born healthy.”<\/div>\n

Whilst his wife then quickly added: “Hopefully he will never express any interest in doing something in Formula 1!”<\/div>\n
Bernie did announce that the baby would be born in the summer time a few months ago, so a lot of people did know they were due a child. During the statement, they were also in quarantine due to Coronavirus, ahead of the babies birth, and he added: “I just want everything to be good with Fabiana even if the isolation goes on longer. <\/span>Fortunately,<\/span><\/span> the farm never runs out of work. Fabiana also looks after her own coffee plantation.”

As good as the family probably feel right now, he has been subject to a bit of backlash recently, over his comments about the Black Lives Matter movement. In a CNN interview he made comments that black people are often \u201cmore racist than white people,\u201d which upset a lot of people, including F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.<\/div>\n

When asked about why he has this opinion, Bernie said: \u201cThings over the years that I’ve noticed, and there’s no need for it. I’m against injustice for anyone, whatever <\/span>colour<\/span><\/span> they are. It’s important to do something about that for a start.”<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Lewis Hamilton, however, wasn\u2019t very happy with the comments, and took to Instagram to say the following: “Damn, I just don’t even know where to start with this one. So sad and disappointing to read these comments.<\/div>\n

“Bernie is out of the sport and a different generation but this is exactly what is wrong – ignorant and uneducated comments which show us how far we as a society need to go before real equality can happen.<\/div>\n

“It makes complete sense to me now that nothing was said or done to make our sport more diverse or to address the racial abuse I received throughout my career.”<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
