MPs said the government needs to acknowledge the risk to national food security from importing 400% of food\u00a0 from countries which are at risk of \u00a0&#8220;climate breakdown&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Environmental Audit Committee member Mary Creagh said:<\/strong> &#8220;We are facing a food security crisis, exacerbated by uncertainty over the UK&#8217;s future trading position with the EU and the rest of the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;Ministers must now publish all the information they hold from Operation Yellowhammer on food security and likely costs in the event of a no-deal Brexit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;More people are living in cities at risk from over-heating and water shortages, they&#8217;re breathing polluted air, eating more fast food and getting less exercise.
