You\u2019re probably thinking this is some sort of mistake, but it\u2019s most definitely not.<\/p>\n

The way you reading this could own his amazing <\/span>five-bedroom <\/span>detached home in <\/span>Airdrie, North Lanarkshire<\/span>, with\u00a0\u00a0stunning gardens<\/span>, a detached garage and even its own sauna, is by entering the raffle he\u2019s running; yes, he\u2019s raffling off a \u00a3500,000 house for \u00a32.50 a ticket.

The house’s current owner explained on the listing website: “<\/span><\/span>I guess the question that personally ‘triggers’ me the most is: is this a scam? That’s always a sore one. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“So, before I move on. I’m originally from a small village just outside <\/span>Airdrie<\/span> called <\/span>Chapelhall<\/span> and if I was asked if I would ever own this house? <\/span>The answer would be (with an accent that hasn’t left me) ‘<\/span>Nae chance’.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“My parents still live in the area and brought me up with solid ‘values’. I don’t need to steal and I also respect that people in life have to work extremely hard to get money. So, the \u00a32.50 fee was to make it accessible for everyone, I just dislike the idea of people being ‘priced out’.<\/p>\n

“I have further reduced the risk to everyone by no one having to make a payment at present. The idea is simple order tickets and I will let you know when to pay. I then don’t get accused of ‘hoarding’ monies or making interest etc.”<\/p>\n
