The new owner of a \u00a3200k+ super car totalled it after owning it for around 20 minutes… yikes.

The car is believed to have stopped near the M1 motorway in Yorkshire, due to a mechanical fault on the car. Then, unfortunately, a van driver collided with the back of the car accidentally, damaging the car and the cars new owner – but the head injuries aren\u2019t believed to be serious.<\/p>\n

PC Richard Whiteley, from West Yorkshire Police, tweeted pictures of the damaged sports car with the caption: “It’s only a car ! But on this occasion a 20 minute old brand new Lamborghini that stopped due mechanical failure in lane 3 them hit from behind by an innocent motorist.<\/span>”<\/p>\n

Those who saw the tweet were extremely shocked, and replied with things like: “I wouldn’t be too happy that a \u00a3200k car suffered mechanical failure after 20 minutes.”<\/p>\n

Another person tweeted: “Drove past this not long after it happened, hope the driver of this car and the unfortunate van that hit it are OK.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Then, someone else pointed out: “Mechanical failure? Owner could have been killed. Hope everyone involved is OK – cars can be replaced, we can’t.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
