US federal agents have been searching Jeffrey Epstein’s island home om the Caribbean islands. This comes after the death of the 66-year-old who is said to committed suicide before the trial on charges that he sexually abused underage girls.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Monday the FBI and Customs and Border Protection were seen at the dock and in the grounds of Little Saint James. The private Caribbean island was bought by Epstein for \u00a36.6m in 1998.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is not known why the FBI went to the island and what they were looking for. FBI spokesman Guillermo Gonzalez said: “There are FBI agents conducting enforcement operations in the US Virgin Islands.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Epstein was arrested on July 6th over claims that he was involved in the ex-trafficking of dozens of girls as young as 14 from at least 2002 until 2005. He had denied the charges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Epstein’s death sparked many conspiracy theories, Epstein was known for this famous friends and President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, and the UK\u2019s Prince Andrew all had links with him. Many of the rumors have been focused on what politicians may have known about the alleged crimes of Epstein and some may have wanted him dead. There is no evidence of this but the hashtag #EpsteinMurder trended worldwide on Saturday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Trump admits he used to be an acquaintance of Epstein, but said he fell out with him more than 15 years ago. However, many people have theories that Trump had involvement of the death along with Mr Clinton.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A spokesman for Mr Clinton, Angel Urena, said previously the former president<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cknows nothing about the terrible crimes Jeffrey Epstein pleaded guilty to in Florida some years ago, or those with which he has been recently charged in New York\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

People are also confused how Epstein was able to take his own life when a few weeks earlier he was found with injuries to his neck and semi conscious. Many also wondered how it happened when he was\/should have been closely watched by guards\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhat does the word watch mean in the phrase suicide watch?\u201d tweeted President Trump\u2019s personal lawyer Rudy Giulani. \u201cWho was watching?\u201d He then said it was \u201cinconceivable\u201d Epstein could have taken his own life under those circumstances.<\/span><\/p>\n
