As lockdown measures ease, people are obviously going to flock to beaches and beauty spots, such as beaches and lakes.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

But sadly, with more people usually comes more litter – or people who\u2019re prepared to litter.<\/p>\n

Residents in Bournemouth and Brighton have become upset and enraged by the scenes below, large amounts of litter on their local beaches.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnacceptable\u201d.<\/p><\/div>\n

The photos show all sorts of rubbish, including beer cans and bottles, takeaway rubbish, and even tents. Residents expressed their annoyance on social media.<\/p>\n

One<\/span><\/span> Bournemouth resident wrote on Twitter: “<\/span><\/span>The destruction left on the beach from yesterday is shocking, <\/span>rubbish<\/span> everywhere, tents and even folding tables left for the <\/span>clean up<\/span> crew.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Another local commented on the photos her fellow Bournemouth resident posted, saying: “And the downside of living in <\/span>Bournemouth<\/span>. Selfish, entitled humans. ‘I want to go to the beach, I don’t care if others do too, I want to eat, get tanned and then leave my <\/span>rubbish<\/span>for someone else’. The ultimate entitled.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Then, In Brighton, a resident uploaded several photos writing: <\/span>“Went for an early morning walk with our dog. What is wrong with people? Loads of rubbish on the beach everywhere. I feel for the street cleaners. Take your rubbish home or go to the next bin where it isn’t full, there’s plenty of them”.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It seems to be a problem involving a lot of people, which is even worse than just one group of people doing it. Littering is a bigger problem than you think, especially at the beach, as marine life can be seriously affected by plastics and other slow biodegrading litter.<\/p>\n

In her local area,\u00a0Liberal <\/span>Democrat spokesperson Vikki Slade urged people not to visit her area<\/span>, saying<\/span>: “Please DO NOT come to Dorset yet.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We are NOT ready. Hotels, attractions, museums and restaurants are closed. Your visit will be much more enjoyable if you come after July 4 when we will be fully prepared for your visit.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Some even say the pandemic is far from over, despite dangerously crammed beaches being full all across the country.<\/p>\n
