The local police are still treating her case as a missing persons although her family believe it is an abduction. The National Crime Agency (NCA) and the Met Police have teamed with Irish police in providing support to authorities in Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The money will be used to help the family cover any unforeseen expenses or charges incurred in the process of the case. Any extra funding not used will be donated to the Lucie Blackman Trust and other charities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Locals from the nearby city of Seremban join in the search and rescue effort. The following morning she was missing from her bedroom and her window was wide open. The 15-year-old was born with holoprosencephaly, a disorder which affects brain development, this means her communication is limited and she struggles with coordination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Last week the police found fingerprints on the window ledge which was found wide open in Nora&#8217;s room. There as several prints and statements have now been taken by 20 individuals.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>In a statement on Tuesday, the family said:<\/strong>\u00a0\u201cNora\u2019s family believe she has been abducted. We are especially worried because Nora has learning and developmental disabilities and is not like other 15-year-olds. She looks younger, she is not capable of taking care of herself and she won\u2019t understand what is going on. She never goes anywhere by herself. We have no reason to believe she wandered off and is lost.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The police have also set up a hotline which is dedicated to receiving information about Nora Quoirin. The Malaysian hotline is 0111 2285058.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> People can also contact the Lucie Blackman trust and remain anonymous.
