Police in Malaysia are treating the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl from London as missing but people fear she has been abducted.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nora Quoirin has special needs and was on holiday in Malaysia for a “trip of a lifetime”. Sadly on Sunday her parents woke up to see that she was missing. Nora have vanished from a resort near Seremban, which is about 40 miles south of the capital Kuala Lumpur.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lucie Blackman Trust (LBT) said Nora’s father raised the alarm of her disappearance after seeing she was missing from her room and the window was wide open; LBT is now supporting the family.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

More than 160 people are involved in the search of the 15 year old. In a statement on Facebook, the resort’s owners said they were “extremely distressed and worried” and “pray for [Nora’s] safety”. The resort is working with the police.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking from Belfast, Nora’s aunt Aisling Agnew said:<\/strong> “Nora’s parents and relatives in Ireland and France are distraught by her disappearance.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Nora is a child with special needs and has learning and developmental disabilities which make her especially vulnerable and we fear for her safety.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Nora would not know how to get help and would never leave her family voluntarily.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We now consider this a criminal matter.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The LBT’s\u00a0 chief executive Matthew Searle said:<\/strong> “This is a very vulnerable young girl missing in a remote location.<\/span><\/p>\n

“She has been missing for over 24 hours now and it is imperative that every resource available is deployed to search for her.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The resort the family are staying at is called Dusun and it is situated in the foothills of the Titiwangsa mountains and also is beside the 4,000-acre Berembun Forest Reserve.<\/span><\/p>\n
