Malvern is part-owned by Cox &amp; Kings which was in trouble after the company failed to repay debt payments last month.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Malvern Group own Laterooms.com and Superbreak mini Holidays and they will stop trading immediately. They have cancelled all holiday bookings. Between both companies they had 53,000 customers, if customers had concerns they have been told to contact the hotels directly. People who are currently on holiday and booked through Super Break might have to pay again. Many people will be covered by Abta, Atol or their credit card companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">We are aware that ABTA Member <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SuperBreak?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@SuperBreak<\/a> (ABTA Number Y1453) has regrettably ceased trading today, 1 August 2019. We have advice for customers who have future bookings with the company and those currently on a Super Break holiday at <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ut7n002auI\">https:\/\/t.co\/ut7n002auI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ABTA (@ABTAtravel) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ABTAtravel\/status\/1156960108284452864?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">August 1, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>It said in a statement:<\/strong> &#8220;Unfortunately, given the short timeframe enabled by our cash position and despite interest from potential purchasers, we have been unable to secure bank support or a sale of the business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;As a result, Late Rooms Ltd Superbreak Mini-Holidays Ltd and Malvern Travel Technology Limited are unable to continue on a solvent basis and have ceased trading.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"sdc-article-widget sdc-article-related-stories\" data-component-name=\"sdc-article-related-stories\">\n<div class=\"sdc-article-related-stories__content\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>It added:<\/strong> &#8220;The senior team at Malvern Group have worked tirelessly to look at all available options to protect our employees, customers, trade partners and suppliers, whilst simultaneously working with regulatory bodies such as ABTA and the CAA to ensure minimum disruption to our customers in the event that the business could not continue.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Executive chairman Hugo Kimber said:<\/strong> &#8220;This is a devastating blow for all of our wonderful employees who have invested so much time and effort into building Malvern, its brands and trips technology platform.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">&#8220;To be so close to delivering our goal of an integrated, dynamic and commercially successful business, that could provide significant value through its innovative products, is heartbreaking.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Malvern Group has gone into administration after it was unable to secure funding or find a buyer.
