There was complaints of bailiffs refusing to set up affordable payments, charging excessive fees and threats.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14207\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/07\/shutterstock_1361081321.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"823\" height=\"535\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/07\/shutterstock_1361081321.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/07\/shutterstock_1361081321-300x195.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/07\/shutterstock_1361081321-768x499.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 823px) 100vw, 823px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The justice minister Paul Maynard said<\/strong>: \u201cThe use of intimidation and aggression by some bailiffs is utterly unacceptable, and it is right we do all we can to tackle such behaviour.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cWhilst most bailiffs act above board, body-worn cameras will provide greater security for all involved \u2013 not least consumers who are often vulnerable. We are looking carefully at other measures to improve the system and will not hesitate to take action where necessary.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Ministry of Justice said they will introduce a 60-day \u201cbreathing space\u201d where creditors cannot chase payments, this will improve how those have failed to make payments are treated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bailiffs are not meant to enter homes when only children are present.
