Holleeder who rose to notoriety for his part in the 1983 kidnapping of beer magnate Freddy Heineken never became the pariah you would have expected him to become given his crime, but instead almost became a cultural icon appearing on a popular talk show and seeming to be popular with sections of the community. However behind the facade of lovable rogue lay the face of a cold-blooded killer, and it was this that turned his sister against him (possibly aided by the fact that he allegedly wants her dead).
