Primark is set to re open on June 15th in the UK, and they\u2019re set to re open over 200 stores by that date.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The pandemic has hit them hard.<\/p><\/div>\n

The chain has said they\u2019re following safety procedures and trying to safely open stores by the 15th of June, after being given the all clear to do so by the government. The government has said all non essential retail shops can start to re open now, on the condition that they set out social distancing guidelines and prevent close contact with other people. The Northern Ireland, Welsh and Scottish stores are going to be opening a little later than the English stores, but this is still expected to be some time in June; perhaps late June.<\/p>\n

The Primark owner said in a statement that: “As European governments have begun to ease restrictions on clothing retailing we have been able to reopen stores.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“Safety has been our highest priority in our detailed preparations to welcome our customers and employees back to stores. We are following government safety advice in all markets.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

They have many stores worldwide, in countries such as Belgium, Germany, Italy, France, and the US.<\/p>\n

They continued: “Importantly, we will apply the valuable experience gained from more than 100 stores which are already open as we open the remainder of our estate, including stores across the UK.<\/p>\n

“Social distancing protocols, hand sanitiser stations, perspex screens at tills and additional cleaning of high frequency touch points in the store are among the measures we are implementing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“These measures are designed to safeguard the health and wellbeing of everyone in store and to instil confidence in the store environment. Feedback from customers and employees in those markets where the stores are open has been positive.”<\/p>\n

The chain is known for being a \u201cfast fashion\u201d store, and lists many of its products at an incredibly low price. But, they also sell home products and small gifts too. Their lack of an online presence has been losing them \u00a3650 million each month they\u2019ve been closed, which is an astounding amount of money. Many people have described them as the perfect clothing retailer, from a business aspect, apart from the fact they don\u2019t make online transactions, as they don\u2019t have an online store. Many businesses have suffered in such a way during the pandemic, from big ones to small ones, and I\u2019m sure they\u2019re all just as relieved to be re-opening and getting the cash flowing again.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
