Around 381 princes and assorted Billionaires (many of whom supported his\u00a0ascension\u00a0to power) were summoned, and many were detained and rumoured to have been tortured.<\/p>\n<p>The net result is that the Saudi State has recovered\u00a0$100bn and possibly deflected\u00a0some world attention away from the debacle in the Yemen and the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
