Ms Gerard works at the Spanish island&#8217;s Loro Parque marine theme park. Her mother and sister had flown out to help with the search.<\/p>\n<p>Police have confirmed there is a body found but has not been identified. The body was recovered from the water and taken to a nearby harbour at about 11:30 GMT; it was found within meters of Amy\u2019s last known whereabouts.<\/p>\n<p>The search has been called off whilst the body is identified.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A police spokesman said: \u201cI can confirm a woman\u2019s body has been found in the sea.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is too early to say at this stage whether it is that of the missing Brit or not.
