Former Manchester united strikers, Rooney and Ibrahmovic, have both been nominated for most valuable player! Both strikers are class and will become legends when they retire from football but who really deserves this award out of the two of them? Both players are by far the best in the league so far and will continue to be the best if they stay for more seasons, but who really deserves it this season?<\/p>\n

Rooney<\/strong>
\nSo far, Rooney has been on top form ever since he moved to DC united. When Rooney wasn’t at DC, they were bottom of the MLS and were nowhere near winning the MLS or even standing a chance to reach the top. Once Rooney joined… he changed the team! Right now, Rooney’s record is 20 games, 12 goals and 7 assists. Let\u2019s not forget the amazing assist he did from the halfway line! Rooney has been on fire since hes join DC united, bring them from bottom to near top of the league and getting them to the MLS playoffs! No wonder he\u2019s apart been nominated!<\/p>\n

Ibrahimovic\u00a0<\/strong>
\n<\/b>Zlatan is Zlatan! Anything anyone can do, Zlatan does better. Ibrahimovic moved from Manchester united to join LA Galaxy in March. There\u2019s not much to say about him. When he joined people thought he lost his form and would be able to replicate it, but Ibrahimovic proved the world wrong! So far, he has scored 22 goals in just 27 appearances for LA and will still, most likely, score more goals for them in the future!<\/p>\n

My Opinion<\/strong><\/div>\n

In my opinion, Rooney is the one who deserves to win MLS MVP because he helped a struggling team from bottom to near top, got them to the MLS Playoffs and has done some incredible things since being in the MLS!
