{"id":2677,"date":"2023-03-22T14:20:10","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T14:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/?p=2677"},"modified":"2023-03-22T14:20:10","modified_gmt":"2023-03-22T14:20:10","slug":"halloumi-wraps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/halloumi-wraps\/general\/","title":{"rendered":"Halloumi wraps"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is made possible by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/\">BBC<\/a> Foods!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-ingredients__heading gel-double-pica\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tbsp mild or medium\u00a0curry powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">2 tbsp low-fat Greek-style\u00a0yoghurt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">\u00bd\u00a0lemon, juice only<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tbsp\u00a0olive oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">250g\/9oz\u00a0halloumi, cut into bite-sized pieces<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">4 multi-seed tortilla\u00a0wraps<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">2 tbsp\u00a0mango chutney<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 Baby Gem\u00a0lettuce, shredded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"recipe-ingredients__sub-heading gel-great-primer-bold\">For the mint and cucumber raita<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">125g\/4\u00bdoz low-fat Greek-style\u00a0yoghurt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 red\u00a0chilli, seeds removed, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">4 tbsp\u00a0mint\u00a0leaves, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">\u00bc\u00a0cucumber, halved, seeds removed, coarsely grated<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">\u00bd\u00a0red onion, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 vine\u00a0tomato, roughly chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">salt and freshly ground\u00a0black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-method__heading gel-double-pica\">Method<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Mix together the curry powder, yoghurt, lemon juice and olive oil.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Coat the halloumi in the marinade .<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Meanwhile, make the raita by mixing all the ingredients together in a small bowl.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Season well with salt and pepper and chill in the fridge.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Preheat the grill to medium-high.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Thread the marinated halloumi pieces onto two metal skewers, reserving any leftover marinade.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Cook the halloumi skewers under the grill for 7 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Once the halloumi pieces are golden-brown and beginning to char, remove them from the skewers and set aside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Warm the wraps for 20 seconds each in a microwave, then fill with the halloumi, raita, mango chutney and Baby Gem lettuce.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em><strong>Banner and Image Credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/\">BBC<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is made possible by BBC Foods!
