Season generously with salt and pepper \u2013 the filling should be very well seasoned.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">To make the sauce, heat the butter and oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Add the garlic, turn down the heat to low and cook gently for about 5 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Add the tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes, stirring from time to time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Whisk the cr\u00e8me fraiche and stock together, then pour into the pan and stir in well.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Season with salt, pepper and sugar, if preferred.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">To make the peppers, preheat the oven to 220C\/200C Fan\/Gas 7.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Stuff the peppers with the filling.
