class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">6\u00a0garlic\u00a0cloves, crushed<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 large\u00a0onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tsp\u00a0salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tsp\u00a0chilli powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tbsp ground\u00a0cumin<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tbsp ground\u00a0coriander<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">120g\/4\u00bdoz\u00a0chickpea flour<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">a large handful of fresh\u00a0parsley, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">cooking\u00a0oil\u00a0spray<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">soft\u00a0bread\u00a0baps, to serve<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"recipe-ingredients__sub-heading gel-great-primer-bold\">For the sauce<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1\u00a0garlic\u00a0clove, grated<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tsp\u00a0salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">4 tbsp\u00a0mayonnaise<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">squeeze\u00a0lemon juice<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tbsp chopped fresh\u00a0parsley<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">2 tbsp\u00a0Sriracha\u00a0sauce<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"recipe-ingredients__sub-heading gel-great-primer-bold\">For the coleslaw (optional)<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">3\u00a0carrots, grated<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">\u00bd\u00a0white cabbage, finely shredded<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">\u00bd\u00a0red cabbage, finely shredded<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1\u00a0red onion, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">reserved baked bean juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-method__heading gel-double-pica\">Method<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Drain the beans, keeping the sauce aside in a separate bowl, then rinse the beans and leave them to drain.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Put the beans and egg into a blender and blend to a smooth paste.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Transfer to a bowl and add the garlic, onion, salt, chilli powder, cumin and coriander.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Add the chickpea flour and mix everything together \u2013 it may be quite a wet mix.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Preheat the oven to 220C\/200C Fan\/Gas 7 and have a large baking tray ready, generously greased.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Using wet hands, create walnut-sized balls of the bean mixture and pop them on the tray.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Spray them with oil all over and bake in the oven for 25\u201330 minutes, turning halfway through.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">To make the sauce, add the garlic, salt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, parsley and Sriracha to 150g of the drained bean sauce from the tins.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Stir and set aside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">If you don\u2019t want to waste the rest of the bean juice, double up the sauce ingredients to make a double batch of it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Use half of it as a dipping sauce for the falafel.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">If making the coleslaw, stir the other half of the bean sauce through the coleslaw ingredients listed.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Serve the falafels squashed inside a soft bap, smothered with the sauce and the coleslaw if you\u2019ve made it.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">There is plenty here to eat and to freeze, so pop any extras into a
