Sift the flour into a large bowl and add the salt, cardamom seeds, butter and sugar.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Use your fingertips to rub the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Make a well in the centre and add the milk. Using your hands, just bring the dough together.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">On a well-floured surface, roll out the dough to a circle roughly 25cm diameter and cut into six equal triangles.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Place on top of the rhubarb mixture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Brush the top of each triangle with beaten egg and sprinkle generously with the demerara.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Return to the oven for 25 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">When ready to serve, sprinkle with pistachios and rose petals (if using) and serve with clotted cream.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em><strong>Banner and Image Credit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/\">BBC<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is made possible by BBC Foods!
