{"id":2473,"date":"2023-01-09T14:13:57","date_gmt":"2023-01-09T14:13:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/?p=2473"},"modified":"2023-01-09T14:13:57","modified_gmt":"2023-01-09T14:13:57","slug":"air-fryer-salmon-with-warm-potato-salad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/air-fryer-salmon-with-warm-potato-salad\/general\/","title":{"rendered":"Air fryer salmon with warm potato salad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is made possible by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/\">BBC<\/a> Foods!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-ingredients__heading gel-double-pica\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">500g\/1lb 2oz small\u00a0new potatoes, larger ones halved<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">4\u00a0salmon\u00a0fillets, approx. 150g\/5\u00bdoz each, scaled<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">250g\/9oz\u00a0green beans\u00a0(or thin-stemmed broccoli), trimmed<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">250g\/9oz sugar snap peas (or mangetout)<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 long or 2 round\u00a0shallots, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">2 tbsp\u00a0white wine vinegar<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">salt and freshly ground black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"recipe-ingredients__sub-heading gel-great-primer-bold\">For the glaze<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">3 tbsp runny\u00a0honey<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">3 tbsp\u00a0wholegrain mustard<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-method__heading gel-double-pica\">Method<\/h2>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Half-fill a large saucepan with water and bring to the boil.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Make sure to preheat the air fryer to 200C.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Meanwhile, for the glaze, mix together the honey and mustard in a medium\u2013large mixing bowl.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Transfer half the glaze to a smaller container and season.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">When the water is boiling, add the potatoes and cook for 7 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Line the air fryer basket with a piece of baking paper that covers the bottom and comes 2\u20134cm\/about 1\u20131\u00bdin up the sides.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Put the salmon, skin-side down, on the paper and brush the fillets with the seasoned honey-mustard glaze.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Air-fry for 6 minutes, then use a fork to check if the fish flakes in the thickest part; if not, cook for 1 minute more, or until cooked through.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">When the potatoes have been boiling for 7 minutes, add the green beans and sugar snap peas and cook for a further 3\u20134 minutes.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">If using mangetout, add only for the last 2 minutes of cooking time.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Drain the vegetables well.
