{"id":2343,"date":"2022-11-16T15:40:56","date_gmt":"2022-11-16T15:40:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/?p=2343"},"modified":"2022-11-16T15:41:20","modified_gmt":"2022-11-16T15:41:20","slug":"quick-pizza-dough","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/quick-pizza-dough\/general\/","title":{"rendered":"Quick pizza dough"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is made possible by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/\">BBC<\/a> Foods!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-ingredients__heading gel-double-pica\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">125g\/4\u00bdoz\u00a0self-raising flour, plus extra for rolling<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">pinch fine\u00a0sea salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">125g\/4\u00bdoz Greek-style\u00a0yoghurt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">125g\/4\u00bdoz\u00a0halloumi, cut into 6 slices<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">4 slices\u00a0Parma ham<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 heaped tbsp finely shredded fresh\u00a0basil, plus a few whole\u00a0basil\u00a0leaves to garnish<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tbsp extra virgin\u00a0olive oil<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">freshly ground\u00a0black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"recipe-ingredients__sub-heading gel-great-primer-bold\">For the pizza sauce<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">150g\/5\u00bdoz tinned\u00a0chopped tomatoes<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">2 tbsp fresh white\u00a0breadcrumbs<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">25g\/1oz\u00a0Parmesan, finely grated<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 heaped tbsp finely shredded fresh\u00a0basil<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tsp\u00a0Worcestershire sauce<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">pinch salt and freshly ground\u00a0black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-method__heading gel-double-pica\">Method<\/h2>\n<p>Before starting this dish, make sure to preheat the oven to 220C\/200C Fan\/Gas 7.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Mix the self-raising flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the yoghurt and mix with a spoon and then use your hands to form a ball.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead to a soft elastic dough. Using a floured rolling pin, roll the dough into a 25cm round.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Place a large non-stick, ovenproof frying pan over a high heat. Put the dough into the pan and cook for 1\u00bd\u20132 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Flip over and cook on the other side for a further 1\u00bd\u20132 minutes, or until puffed up and lightly browned.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Remove from the heat.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">To make the tomato sauce, mix all the ingredients together.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Fry the halloumi for 20 seconds on each side over a high heat.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Carefully remove the hot tray from the oven. Place the pizza base on top and spread over the tomato mixture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Top with the fried halloumi.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Bake for 8\u201310 minutes, or until the pizza dough is cooked through and the topping is hot.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Drape the Parma ham over the pizza.
