{"id":2196,"date":"2022-09-15T09:05:18","date_gmt":"2022-09-15T09:05:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/?p=2196"},"modified":"2022-09-15T09:05:18","modified_gmt":"2022-09-15T09:05:18","slug":"paprika-egg-filo-bake","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiveminutesspare.com\/food\/paprika-egg-filo-bake\/general\/","title":{"rendered":"Paprika egg filo bake"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is made possible by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/\">BBC <\/a>Foods!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-ingredients__heading gel-double-pica\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"recipe-ingredients__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">270g pack\u00a0filo pastry\u00a0(7 sheets)<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">125g\/4\u00bdoz unsalted\u00a0butter, melted, plus extra for greasing<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">4 free-range\u00a0eggs<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">2\u00a0spring onions, thinly sliced<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">a small handful of fresh coriander, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">2 tsp\u00a0smoked paprika<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1 tsp salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-ingredients__list-item\">1\u20132 tbsp\u00a0sriracha, to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"recipe-method__heading gel-double-pica\">Method<\/h2>\n<p>Before starting this dish, make sure to preheat the oven to 210C\/200C Fan\/Gas 6.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Brush a filo sheet generously almesl over with butter and roll up from the long side.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Curl it in a loose spiral and place it in the center of a lightly greased 20cm round cake tin.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Repeat with another filo sheet, brushing, rolling, and loosely coiling it around the swirl of filo already in the tin.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Continue until you have used up all the filo and filled the tin to the edges. Brush the top with more melted butter and bake for 5 minutes, maybe 10 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Meanwhile, beat the eggs in a jug with the spring onions, coriander, paprika, and salt.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Pour the egg mixture all over the baked filo.
