Set aside.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Heat the oil in a large lidded saut\u00e8 pan, add the chicken thighs and fry on each side for 2 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Push the chicken to one side, add the onion and cook for 3 minutes. Maybe longer!<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Stir the chicken back into the onions, then add the garlic, ginger, chili, and smoked paprika and cook for 1 minute.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Add the tomato pur\u00e8e and mix well.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Drain the rice and stir it into the chicken mixture. Add the tomato passata and half the stock. Stir well and bring to a simmer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Cover with a lid and cook gently over medium-low heat for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Stir the rice well, then add the remaining stock and stir once more.
