Add the pine nuts and crush until smooth.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Add 3 tablespoons of water to emulsify the mixture, then add the Parmesan cheese.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Slowly work in the olive oil, until you have a drizzling consistency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Bring a large pot of boiling salted water to the boil.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"recipe-method__list\">\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Add cook the pasta with the blanched potatoes and green beans for about 3 minutes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Meanwhile, warm half of the pesto in a frying pan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Using tongs, lift the pasta, green beans, and potatoes from the water and add them to the frying pan.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Toss with the pesto and add 2\u00a0tablespoons of the pasta water to loosen the sauce so it coats the pasta strands.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"recipe-method__list-item\">\n<p class=\"recipe-method__list-item-text\">Check the seasoning and divide the pasta between two bowls.
