The Yeezy market is flooded with fakes so it’s very easy to come by them. I can guarantee that when you’re trying to buy Turtle Doves, you will come across 5 fakes before you come across a real pair.#<\/p>\n

This short guide is going to show you how to check if your Yeezys are fake, how to not get sold fakes, and what to do if you have been sold fakes.<\/p>\n

Pricing\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to Sneaker expert Klekt, you must “Take a closer look at the Primeknit fabric. Little holes are evenly distributed over the whole upper in a repeating pattern. Most fabrics of fake products show flaws in that arrangement. The stitching that connects both panels, shows a repeating X \u2013 Square \u2013 X \u2013 Square pattern and is made of a thick thread. Instead of running straight up to the sockliner, the stitching seems a little crooked. Fake products tend to use smaller threads and mess up on the pattern of the stitching.”<\/p>\n

The next step will be a little cryptic\/ Compare the right panel of the left shoe with the right panel of the right shoe. Search for a striking detail of the black Primeknit parts and find it on the same side of the other shoe.<\/p>\n

The Insole should be black on black.The bottom of the insole features a detailed adidas trefoil logo, where the letters are clearly visible. Fake pairs often show flaws on this application or seem to be too thick.<\/p>\n

Take a good look at the visible boost part. On top of the boost, you can find 7 little arrangements, where six dots circle a single dot in the middle.<\/p>\n

The boost\u00a0may\u00a0<\/strong>be the only indicator that the pair is fake, so be sure to give it a good look before buying. Real Boost is not used on fakes often so if the Boost doesn’t look or feel right (too soft or hard) then it will be fake (unless they are very worn the boost can be slightly softer).<\/p>\n

To avoid getting scammed simply buy from reputable buyers if you’re ever in doubt. If someone is acting suspicious or selling way too cheap they’ll be fake. Always buy on a platform where you have some sort of buyer protection, so you can claim and get your money back.<\/p>\n

If you’ve been scammed simply contact the buyer or the companies website that processed the transaction (PayPal for example). If you paid through bank transfer contact your bank. If nothing else works all I can suggest is meeting the person in a safe location and collecting your shoes, or contacting action fraud.<\/p>\n
