Many counterfeit vendors are involved in other crimes, such as gangs, terrorism, drugs, and even human trafficking. By funding the sellers, you\u2019re often funding this sort of crime too.<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, some of the products have cause serious health problems in buyers. For example, materials are used from unreliable \u00a0sources, and there are no regulations to say what can or can\u2019t be used. And for jackets, feathers and fillers used are from birds that after have very dirty feathers, and many people have reportedly became sick from fungus spores and bacteria that were living on the feathers. If you plan to use the coat in a cold place, too, the feathers will almost never keep you as warm as you want, or even need. So just get the real thing, or a cheaper alternative.<\/p>\n

The top and bottom of it is that you\u2019re damaging the brands that spend time and money developing and making these products. Your money is ultimately going to the wrong place. The fashion houses are losing revenue because counterfeiters are getting it, and that isn\u2019t fair.<\/p>\n

Counterfeiting is illegal, so you won\u2019t be able to use a method of payment with buyer protection, and no one will help if you do get scammed. Depending on the site, even if you do get your products, your financial data could be sold on to other scammers, meaning a greater loss of money than if you\u2019d just not received the item.<\/p>\n
