Who is Jerry Smith?<\/h3>\n

Jerry Smith is the Son of Leonard and Joyce Smith. Much of his early life is unknown. Jerry was accompanied by Beth to the school prom. After prom, Jerry and Beth conceive their first baby Summer, who is born when they are both 17. At the age of 20 their second child, Morty is born. Jerry is a cowardly individual who lacks purpose in life. He has a lack of focus career-wise, he once appeared to be a bookkeeper and is later fired from an Advertising Agency.<\/p>\n

Beth and Jerry's relationship is relatively rocky throughout the series and leads to them separating, and Jerry leaving the Family home. However, they do re-couple and Beth appears to accept the disappointment that Jerry is and falls in love with him once again.<\/p>\n

Jerry's Father-in-Law Rick Sanchez generally is disapproving of him. Jerry does not like the relationship that Morty has with Rick and also disapproves of the manipulation and control Rick uses on their family especially his wife Beth. Jerry at one point is convinced that Rick is going to Murder him.<\/p>\n

Summer generally shows little respect for Jerry, and Morty more or less pities him.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
