Today is Asteroid Day which is a global awareness campaign where people from around the world come together to learn about asteroids, the impact hazard they may pose and what we can do to protect our planet, families, communities and future generations from asteroid impacts. Asteroid Day is held each year on the anniversary of the largest impact in recent history, the 1908 Tunguska event in Siberia. The day was created in 2015<\/p>\n

In 1966 The National Organization for Women was founded at Washington, DC, by people attending the Third National Conference on the Commission on the Status of Women. NOW's purpose is to take action to bring women into full partnership in the mainstream of American society, exercising all privileges and responsibilities in equal partnership with men<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
