The Great British Bake Off (GBBO) returned to our screens last night and is giving us some baking envy plus some memes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each week the contestants<\/a><\/strong> will face a signature bake and a technical challenge before being asked to create a showstopper bake which is in the theme.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the first episode of the series which aired yesterday, the 13 contestants were asked to make a well decorated fruit cake, some angel slices and a cake that showed their childhood. Sadly we also said goodbye to one of the contestants, Dan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As you can imagine it was not long before many GBBO memes hit Twitter and here are our best picks!<\/span><\/p>\n
