The ‘Carry On’ films were a unique set of slapstick style comedies, made in the UK between 1958 and 1992, albeit the final film was made after a 14 years hiatus. The films were all scripted in a similar style, albeit in different settings, instantly identifiable by the humourous bawdy dialogue which was peppered with innuendos and double entendres.<\/p>\n

Some would no doubt regard all the films as being total rubbish, as well as being seriously politically incorrect. And by the cinematic standards and social norms of today, it would be difficult to defend the indefensible. However, if you’re like me, a big fan of the silly, rambunctious viewings that were the ‘Carry On’ films, then here’s a complete list of the movies that make up the franchise:<\/p>\n
