Liam Hemsworth has filed for a divorce from Miley Cyrus after just seven months of marriage. The 29-year-old actor filed legal documents in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday and said the divorce is for “irreconcilable differences”.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hemsworth has hired lawyer Laura Wasser to issue the divorce proceedings, the lawyer has clients such as Kim Kardashian and Ryan Reynolds.<\/span><\/p>\n

The pair married in December 2018 after being on and off for years but it was not meant to last as on August 10th 2019 they announced their separation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hemsworth took to Instagram to let everyone who did not hear by the representatives that Miley and him had decided to split.<\/span><\/p>\n

He wrote:<\/strong> “Hi all<\/span>
\nJust a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.<\/span>
\nThis is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false.<\/span>
\nPeace and Love.”<\/span><\/p>\n
