Introduction<\/h3>\n

Penny is a villager who lives in Pelican Town. She’s one of the twelve characters available to marry. Her trailer is just east of the center of town, west of the river. She tutors Vincent and Jas at the library.<\/p>\n

Schedule<\/span><\/h3>\n

Penny can usually be found in town reading or cleaning up at the\u00a0trailer. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday she tutors\u00a0Jas\u00a0and\u00a0Vincent\u00a0at the\u00a0museum, walking them both home afterwards. She doesn’t tutor in the\u00a0Summer\u00a0season. Many Saturdays in\u00a0Spring\u00a0and\u00a0Fall\u00a0she’ll take them to the\u00a0town playground.<\/p>\n

When it’s raining Penny can either be found inside her\u00a0trailer\u00a0or visiting the\u00a0museum\u00a0looking at the selection of books.<\/p>\n

After the\u00a0Beach Resort\u00a0on Ginger Island is unlocked, Penny may randomly spend the day there. After leaving the Island at 6pm, Penny will immediately go home to bed. Penny never visits the Resort on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday,\u00a0Festival\u00a0days, or her checkup day at\u00a0Harvey’s Clinic.<\/p>\n

Two Heart Events<\/h4>\n

Enter\u00a0Pelican Town\u00a0on a sunny day between 9am and 2pm.<\/p>\n

George\u00a0looks into his mailbox and wonders how he’ll reach a letter in the back. Penny notices and gets the letter out for him. George is upset at being seen helpless and scolds her. Penny sees you and asks if you were watching them.<\/p>\n

  • “I was. You did a kind thing there, Penny.” \u00a0Penny thanks you, but is unhappy that George was upset.<\/li>\n
  • “I was. You should’ve asked instead of assuming George wanted help.”\u00a0\u00a0Penny apologises to George.<\/li>\n
  • “I’m just taking a walk, minding my own business.”\u00a0Penny responds “I see”.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Regardless of your choice, George sighs and apologises to Penny for getting angry. He says it was very kind of her to help. Penny says she understands. After George leaves, Penny says it must be difficult growing old.<\/p>\n

    • “I’d rather not think about it.” She responds, “I guess you’re right… why stress out about something you can’t change?”<\/li>\n
    • “It’s just a different part of life.”\u00a0She responds, “You’re right, we shouldn’t ignore the reality of aging. I guess the sooner we come to terms with our mortality, the more time we can spend really living in the here-and-now.”<\/li>\n
    • “That’s why we should respect our elders.”\u00a0She responds, “That’s nice of you to say… I totally agree with you. We should treat our elders with the same respect we hope to receive ourselves some day.”<\/li>\n
    • “I’d rather die young…”\u00a0She responds, “That’s a horrible thing to say. Life is a precious thing to waste like that!”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Penny bids you farewell and leaves.<\/p>\n

      Four Heart Event<\/h4>\n

      Enter the\u00a0trailer when she’s home.<\/p>\n

      Penny complains about how messy the place is, and asks if you could help her clean up. As you do so, Pam returns home and yells at Penny for letting someone else clean her home. Pam eventually asks you to leave, and they continue their discussion privately. Pam admits that she’s embarrassed to have strangers clean up the house. The next day, you get a letter of apology from Penny.<\/p>\n

      Six Heart Event<\/h4>\n

      Enter the\u00a0trailer\u00a0when she’s home.<\/p>\n

      Penny asks you to try a recipe she invented.<\/p>\n

      • “(Lie) Mmm! That was delicious!” \u00a0She responds: “You really mean it? Thank you! … it’s such a relief to hear that. I’ve been working so hard on this recipe, and I’m really proud of it. Hey, since you’re the first person to try it, I’m going to name this one ‘Chili de <your name>’.”<\/li>\n
      • “Uh… can I get the rest to go?” \u00a0Penny is crestfallen and says her recipe was a failure.<\/li>\n
      • “Well it’s definitely unique… how did you get it so rubbery?”\u00a0Penny is crestfallen and says her recipe was a failure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Regardless of your choice, she invites you to watch a movie together and your energy is increased by 165.<\/p>\n

        Eight Heart Events<\/h4>\n

        Enter\u00a0Cindersap Forest\u00a0between 9am and 4pm.<\/p>\n

        Penny is on a field trip with\u00a0Jas\u00a0and\u00a0Vincent. Penny asks you if you’d like to be a guest speaker and share your experience about the countryside with the children.<\/p>\n

        • “I’d love to!”\u00a0 She responds, “Great! Let me just call the children over.”<\/li>\n
        • “Sure.”\u00a0 She responds, “Great! Let me just call the children over.”<\/li>\n
        • “No… I can’t stand kids.” \u00a0She responds, “Really?… Uh… Well, alright. I guess I’ll see you later then.” The cutscene ends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          If you agree to speak to the kids, you’re prompted for a number of dialogue options . Afterwards Penny tells the children to run along and asks you if you’d like to be a parent.<\/p>\n

          • “I haven’t really thought about it.”\u00a0 She responds, “Oh no? Well, I guess that makes sense… you’re busy with other things right now.”<\/li>\n
          • “Absolutely. I want a big family.”\u00a0 She responds, “… Me too. I’m glad you feel that way.”<\/li>\n
          • “I guess so. It’s a natural urge.”\u00a0She responds, “Yes… the urge to care for something innocent and helpless. It makes sense that we’d feel that.”<\/li>\n
          • “No, I don’t think I’d be good at it.”\u00a0 She responds, “Oh, really? I think you’d make a good parent.”<\/li>\n
          • “No, The world’s crowded enough already.”\u00a0 She responds, “hmm… If everyone thought like that, humans would die out.”<\/li>\n
          • “No, I don’t want to be tied down with a family.”\u00a0 She responds, “Oh… That’s kind of sad… but I guess I can understand your point.”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            The scene fades and she thanks you for showing up<\/p>\n

            Ten Heart<\/h4>\n

            You receive a letter from Penny. After receiving the letter, enter the pool area of the\u00a0spa\u00a0between 7pm and midnight.<\/p>\n

            Penny joins you in the pool. She asks if you know why she invited you here.<\/p>\n

            • “You have something to tell me.”\u00a0She responds, “That’s right…”<\/li>\n
            • “I’m not exactly sure.”\u00a0She responds, “Really? I thought you’d have noticed by now…”<\/li>\n
            • “You wanted to see me in my bathing suit”\u00a0She responds, “No!”<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Penny confesses her feelings for you.<\/p>\n

              • “I feel the same way about you.”\n
                  \n
                • If the player is male, she responds, “…Oh, <your name>. I thought you did, but I wasn’t sure. …I’ll always remember this night.” You kiss and the cutscene ends.<\/li>\n
                • If the player is female, she responds, “…Oh, <your name>. I thought you did, but I wasn’t sure. You look so beautiful tonight… I… *gasp*” You kiss and the cutscene ends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
                • “Sorry, but I don’t like you in that way…”\u00a0She bursts into tears and the cutscene ends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
