They are located in beaches from the Indian to central Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>This crab is known for having 10 legs and can grow up-to the side of a puppy, and surprisingly is a simple hermit crab. It is known for being the largest land crab on earth.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This crab have an extreme power in there claws as it can be 80-100 times there own body weight and they can survive falls up-to 4-5 meter high. They are extremely strong and some scientists have almost lost a finger to these crabs.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The main part of there brain is given to there sense of smell allowing them to sniff out a rotting refuse up-to two kilometres away.
