The co-main event of the evening featured local fighter Leon Edwards up against Gunnar Nelson, in another welterweight battle.\u00a0 There was a fantastic atmosphere in the O2 arena, switching between chants for Edwards and the Viking clap for Nelson.\u00a0 Edwards fought cautiously, managing to defend from a number of dominant positions imposed on him by Nelson.\u00a0 He was right to consider that he was ahead in the first two rounds, which allowed him to manage his time effectively in the third and not get drawn into Nelson’s game, which meant he held on for the decision victory.<\/p>\n
