Katie Taylor is wanting to have a homecoming fight. The fight was meant to be with Amanda Serrano, however she pulled out of the fight, meaning they had to find another opponent.<\/b><\/p>\n

This fight in Ireland will be Katie’s first professional fight there and this fight will be against the world light-welterweight champion Cameron.<\/p>\n

She said she would be “happy to move up in weight” and has now got her wish.<\/p>\n

This long awaited fight has been on the cards for some time, however the fight between Serrano may still happen, just not in Ireland!<\/p>\n

“Once Serrano pulled out this was the natural fight to make,” said Taylor.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s two undefeated, reigning undisputed world champions going up against each other and I believe that’s the first time that’s ever happened in the modern era of the sport.<\/span><\/p>\n

“People have been talking about this fight for a long time now so I’m delighted it’s happening and I’m looking forward to becoming a two-weight undisputed champion.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
