For the first numbered card of 2022, we had a headline event of Heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, facing off against interim champion Ciryl Gane.\u00a0 Gane came out strong, likely taking the first two rounds, but Ngannou showed his strength and moved ahead as the fight moved into the championship rounds, eventually coming out victorious via a unanimous decision<\/p>\n

Fight of the Night honours went to the co-main event for the flyweight title, as champion Brandon Moreno met up again with Deiveson Figueiredo.\u00a0 A fantastic fight all round, and many were not envying the judges their jobs.\u00a0 Eventually Figueiredo came out victorious and in doing so becomes the new UFC flyweight champion<\/p>\n
