There was a late change of card from the proposed match ups this last weekend, as the planned main event between heavy weights Curtis Blaydes and Derrick Lewis was scratched due to Blaydes testing positive for Covid 19. \u00a0\u00a0The winner of that \u00a0battle was \u00a0likely go on to face the winner of Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou for the title \u00a0– however a firm date is yet to be set for that fight, but rumours are circulating that it may not be until March, which would give time for this one to be rescheduled.\u00a0 So as it transpired Devin Clark and Anthony Smith were boosted to the main event, with both fighters agreeing on late notice to undergo the full 5 rounds befitting the main event status.\u00a0 As it happens Smith quickly put an end to Clark\u2019s challenge with triangle choke in the very first round.<\/p>\n
